Located deep in the Hawkes Bay of the North Island of New Zealand, Wairunga serves as the backdrop for what will be the band’s new album and documentary. 

Recorded on a day of intermittent rain, wind and brooding atmosphere, Fat Freddy’s Drop have an unspoken chemistry, blending instruments into a fusion of soul, vibe and aroha.

Filming late into the night, the brazier burning, the music flows. What will become another iconic album, much needed in a world who thirsts for hope and inspiration.
